Shotgun Chaps
Shotgun chaps, or "Leggins", were the original style worn during the height of the cattle drive era. These chaps were pulled on like trousers and had a buckle and strap back, string tied front, laced legs from top to bottom, and one or two pockets. Decoration varied from just simple leg fringe, to conchos, spots, and fancy tooling.
Our Shotgun Chaps take from both the past and from the present. Our leggins have the traditional string tied front, but with fewer laces to allow an easier breakaway if they get snagged. The back is still the traditional 1 1/2" buckle and strap. The legs are zippered, but with lacing for a traditional look (zippers can be left off on request). Conchos, spots, tooling, and fringe can be added.
Pricing on our shotgun chaps start at $325.00. Because of the measurements and custom touches that go into every pair we suggest calling to discuss details and to place your order.
